Netflix has acquired the Texas Chainsaw Massacre sequel from Legendary Pictures. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streaming giant has bought exclusive distribution rights to the sequel of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The upcoming is directed by David Blue Garcia and it will pick the story up right where the Tobe Hopper‘s 1974 classic film left off, this will be the second time Legendary and Netflix are teaming after the action-mystery film Enola Holmes.
The sequel of the acclaimed film stars Elsie Fisher, Sarah Yarkin, Jacob Latimore, and Moe Dunford, and it will set years after the events of the first film. The plot of the film has not been revealed yet, but we all hope that the sequel is as gory as the original film.
