Edgar Wright‘s latest thriller-horror film Last Night in Soho, was released in October but the theatrical release didn’t pay off as much because of the release of big-budget films like No Time to Die and Dune, and both of the films were great but so was Last Night in Soho, and just after a few weeks in theaters, the thriller film will release on all home media digital platforms next week on November 19.
The film made its theatrical debut on October 29, without leaving much of an impact on the box office despite receiving good critical and audience reception. Last Night in Soho currently holds a 75% critic and 75% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Last Night in Soho made $4.2 million in its opening weekend and around 12 million worldwide against the reported budget of $43 million.
The theatrical release may be good news for Wright’s fans who couldn’t get to see the film in the theater, but we just hope that in the future brilliant films like Last Night in Soho won’t go unnoticed and make more in theaters, so they don’t have to go to digital release so soon. Last Night in Soho is co-written by Wright and Kristy Wilson-Cairns and it stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Thomasin McKenzie, Matt Smith, Terence Stamp, Rita Tushingham, and the late Diana Rigg.
