If you have been excited about the TV adaptation of the popular 2013 dark comedy crime drama novel Bad Monkey by author Carl Hiaasen since its announcement in 2021, then now you must be happy as the Apple TV+ series of the same name developed by Scrubs, Ted Lasso, and Shrinking famed creator Bill Lawrence is finally here and to put it simply, it’s an entertaining watch.
Bad Monkey is set in Southern Florida and it follows the story of Andrew Yancy, a former police detective turned restaurant inspector as he gets caught up in a strange crime involving a severed human hand and a host of eccentric characters, while his personal and professional go down the drain.
