Benedict Cumberbatch says “never say never” on Sherlock Season 5.

Since Sherlock, the BBC series aired its fourth season in 2017 fans have been waiting for the fifth season, and to be truthful the hope for Season 5 is dimming day by day. In a recent interview with Collider Sherlock star, Benedict Cumberbatch said that there is no plan for a fifth season yet.

BBC’s Sherlock – Plot?

A modern update finds the famous sleuth and his doctor partner solving crime in 21st century London.

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional private detective created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The BBC series started in 2010 with its first season and the fourth season was aired in 2017.

When asked about Sherlock Season 5 by Collider, Benedict Cumberbatch said:

“I’m the worst person to ask on this because I never say never, obviously. But I don’t know. And I’m the worst person to ask because my slate’s pretty, pretty full at the moment, as is Martin [Freeman, Watson] and all the other key players involved. So, who knows? Maybe one day, if the script’s right. And I say ‘the script,’ maybe it could be a film rather than the series. Who knows? But anyway, not for now.”

Lovers are waiting for Season 5!!! Hope for Season 5!! Love to see Sherlock Holmes playing the character of Dr. Strange as he has entered MCU. But there would be a wait for Dr. strange coming back as Sherlock Holmes.

Till then Fans can binge season 1 to 4 on Netflix with a big tub of popcorn beside them!!!
