Based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name by Mike Richardson, the 1994 film follows the story of Stanley Ipkiss, a timid bank clerk who discovers a mystical mask that consists of the spirit of the Norse god Loki and helps turn Stanley into a superhero and also a criminal at the same time.
