Fantasy is a genre that can entice millions of fans with its world-building, imaginative elements, and larger-than-life characters. With the biggest library of shows and movies in the industry, Netflix has many great fantasy shows that the fans would find entertaining. While many of them were canceled before they could conclude their story, they are still entertaining. So, we considered compiling a list of the best fantasy shows you can find on Netflix.
The Witcher (Only Season 1)
The Witcher is a dark fantasy action-adventure series created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Based on a series of fantasy novels of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the Netflix series is set in a fantasy world, and it follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher (a mutated human who hunts monsters), as his fate gets entangled with the Crown Princess Ciri and a mage Yennefer, while a war rages between nations that threatens to destroy the world completely. The Witcher stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan in the lead roles, with Eamon Farren, Joey Batey, Mimî M Khayisa, Wilson Mbomio, Anna Shaffer, Royce Pierreson, Tom Canton, and Mecia Simson starring in supporting roles. While The Witcher was supposed to be Netflix’s Game of Thrones, in our opinion, only one good season of the series pleased the fans of the source material and the general audience.
One Piece
One Piece is a fantasy adventure series created by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda. Based on a highly popular Japanese manga series of the same name by Eiichiro Oda, the Netflix series is set in a world where pirates roam the seas in search of a treasure called One Piece, and it follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy and his soon to be crewmates who will be known as the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy begins his search for crewmates to find One Piece and keeps running into people he needs to find. There is also one small thing that is a bit weird but very entertaining: some magical fruits give people powers, but those powers come at a cost, as after eating them, they can’t swim in the sea. One Piece stars Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Taz Skylar, and Jacob Gibson in the lead roles, with Morgan Davies, Jeff Ward, Peter Gadiot, Vincent Regan, Celeste Loots, and McKinley Belcher III starring in supporting roles.
Locke & Key
Locke & Key is a fantasy horror drama series created by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill, and Aron Eli Coleite. Based on a comic book series of the same name by Joel Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, the Netflix series follows the story of the Locke siblings as they move to their family home, Keyhouse, with their mother after their father is murdered by a former student. Soon after moving, the siblings find various mysterious keys that unlock magical doors, but their adventure comes to a halt when they discover a demonic entity that is also in search of the keys. Locke & Key stars Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, and Darby Stanchfield in the lead roles, with Laysla De Oliveira, Griffin Gluck, Hallea Jones, Aaron Ashmore, Petrice Jones, Kevin Durand, and Sherri Saum starring in supporting roles.
Lockwood & Co.
Lockwood & Co. is a British supernatural detective thriller series created by Joe Cornish. Based on a young adult book series of the same name by Jonathan Stroud, the Netflix series is set in an alternate present-day Britain where ghosts come at night and even touching them is lethal. We follow the story of Lucy Carlyle, a young girl with psychic powers, as she joins two teen boys who are the owners of a ghost-hunting agency called Lockwood & Co. The Netflix series stars Ruby Stokes, Cameron Chapman, and Ali Hadji-Heshmati in the lead roles, with Paddy Holland, Jack Bandeira, Louise Brealey, Luke Treadaway, Morven Christie, Jemma Moore, and Ben Crompton starring in supporting roles.
Wednesday
Wednesday is a teen supernatural mystery series created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Based on the iconic characters created by Charles Addams, the Netflix series follows the story of Wednesday Addams as she reluctantly joins the Nevermore Academy, a boarding school for outcasts, freaks, and monsters. Soon after joining the school, she becomes embroiled in a string of murders committed by a monster. The Order
The Order is a supernatural horror drama series created by Dennis Heaton. Jack’s intention behind joining the order isn’t to learn magic but to exact his revenge for the death of his mother. The Sandman

Shadow and Bone
Shadow and Bone is a fantasy drama series created by Eric Heisserer. But one day, he gets entangled in a murder case and meets a homicide detective, Chloe Decker. Soon, he discovers that he enjoys staying around Chloe and playing detective, so he does that. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
