Isle of Dogs (February 1)

Isle of Dogs is an adult stop-motion animated sci-fi comedy-drama film written and directed by Wes Anderson. The 2018 film is set in the near future, with a rapid canine flu outbreak. The Mayor of the Japanese city, Megasaki orders the quarantine of all the dogs on an island, but a young boy goes on an adventure in search of his dog. Isle of Dogs’ voice cast includes Bryan Cranston, Koyu Rankin, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, Bill Murray, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, and Scarlett Johansson.

Say Anything is a teen romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Cameron Crowe. The 1989 film follows Diane, who falls completely in love with Lloyd, but Diane’s father’s disapproval gets in the way of their relationship. Another Round is a Danish dark comedy-drama film directed by Thomas Vinterberg, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Tobias Lindholm. The 2020 film revolves around four middle-aged friends who test a theory that states that a certain level of blood alcohol content keeps you happy and creative. However, their plan goes awry when they take this experiment a bit too far. Another Round stars Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Bo Larsen, Magnus Millang, and Lars Ranthe.
