This March, we are getting a ton of entertainment on various platforms, including streaming services, television networks, and, last but not least, theatres. This upcoming month, we will finally see the release of the extremely controversial Disney film Snow White and the movie I am looking for is Bong Joon-ho‘s Mickey 17. So, we are here to sort out all of the brilliant upcoming movies that you might not want to miss seeing in theatres.
Mickey 17 (March 7)
Mickey 17 is an upcoming sci-fi dark comedy adventure film written and directed by Bong Joon-ho. Based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton, the 2025 film is set in the distant future, and it follows Mickey Barnes, a disposable employee who can be regenerated with most of his memories still intact, who is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. Mickey 17 stars Robert Pattinson, Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo.
F Mary Kill (March 7)
F Marry Kill is an upcoming thriller comedy film directed by Laura Murphy from a screenplay co-written by Ivan Diaz, Dan Scheinkman, and Meghan Brown. The 2025 film follows Eva Vaugh, a young woman who suspects one of her love interests of being a serial killer. F Marry Kill stars Lucy Hale, Virginia Gardner, Brooke Nevin, JayR Tinaco, Jedidiah Goodacre, Samer Salem, and Brendan Morgan.
The Electric State (March 7)
The Electric State is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure comedy-drama film co-directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay co-written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Based on the 2018 illustrated novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag, the Netflix film is set in the alternate version of the 90s after a robot uprising, and it follows Michelle, a teenager who teams up with an eccentric but mysterious robot and a smuggler to find her missing young brother. The Electric State will be released in select theaters on March 7, 2025, before coming out on Netflix on March 14, 2025. It stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito, and Stanley Tucci.
Black Bag (March 14)
Black Bag is an upcoming spy thriller drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh from a screenplay by David Koepp. The 2025 film follows George Woodhouse, an intelligence agent who finds himself unable to choose between his country or his wife after his wife is suspected of treason. Black Bag stars Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Marisa Abela, Tom Burke, Naomi Harris, Regé-Jean Page, and Pierce Brosnan.
Novocaine (March 14)
Novocaine is an upcoming action thriller comedy film co-directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen from a screenplay by Lars Jacobson. The 2025 film follows Nathan Caine, a mild-mannered bank executive who suffers from a rare disorder that allows him to feel no pain. When Nathan’s girlfriend gets taken hostage during a bank robbery, he uses his condition to fight the robbers and get her back. Novocaine stars Jack Quaid, Amber Midthunder, Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh.
Snow White (March 21)
Snow White is an upcoming musical fantasy adventure film directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay co-written by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson. Based on Disney’s 1937 animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the 2025 film follows Snow White, who must get her kingdom back from her evil stepmother with the help of a few beloved characters. Snow White stars Rachel Zegler, Andrew Burnap, Gal Gadot, Ansu Kabia, Jeremy Swift, Martin Klebba, and George Salazar.
The Alto Knights (March 21)
The Alto Knights is an upcoming biographical crime drama film directed by Barry Levinson from a screenplay by Nicholas Pileggi. The 2025 film is set in the 1950s, and it follows Vito Genovese and Frank Costello, two Italian-American mob bosses. When Costello survives a hit ordered by Genovese, he decides to retire from the life of crime. The Alto Knights stars Robert De Niro in the dual leading role of Genovese and Costello. It also stars Debra Messing, Cosmo Jarvis, Kathrine Narducci, and Michael Rispoli.
A Working Man (March 28)
A Working Man is an upcoming action thriller film directed by David Ayer, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sylvester Stallone. Based on the 2014 novel Levon’s Trade by author Chuck Dixon, the 2025 film follows Levon Cade, a former Royal Marines commando now working as a construction worker and leading a peaceful life, but when his boss’s teenage daughter is kidnapped, he must his skills to get her back. A Working Man stars Jason Statham, David Harbour, Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, and Noemi Gonzalez.
