2024 has come to an end, and while this year wasn’t the greatest year for films or Hollywood after the disastrous pandemic and the Writers’ and Actors’ strike, it did see the release of some great films. From the much-anticipated sequel of the sci-fi film Dune to the superhero buddy-comedy film no one thought would ever happen, Deadpool & Wolverine. A Complete Unknown is a biographical musical drama film directed by James Mangold, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jay Cocks. Based on the 2015 book Dylan Goes Electric! by Elijah Wald, the 2024 film follows Bob Dylan through his earliest folk music roots and success to his controversial use of electric instruments at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. Dune: Part Two (Max & Rent on Prime Video)
Dune: Part Two is an epic sci-fi action drama film directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts.
