‘Dark Matter’ Season 2 Renewed By Apple TV+

One of the most mind-bendingly amazing shows of 2024 just got a green light for Season 2. We are talking about the sci-fi thriller drama series Dark Matter, which kept its fans intrigued to the very last minute of its runtime and now the creatives behind the series have the chance to do it all over again.

Based on a 2016 sci-fi novel of the same name by author Blake Crouch, Dark Matter is adapted for television by the author Blake Crouch and it stars Joel Edgerton in the lead role of Jason Dessen with Jennifer Connelly as Daniela Dessen, Alice Braga as Amanda Lucas, Oakes Fegley as Charlie Dessen, Jimmi Simpson as Ryan Holder, Dayo Okeniyi as Leighton Vance, Amanda Brugel as Blair Caplan, Aina Brei-Yon as Dawn Lawrence, and William Smillie as Matt starring in supporting roles.

Dark Matter follows the story of Jason Dessen, a Chicago-based physicist as he is warped into an alternate version of his life, where he has a completely different. Now, he must fight to get back to his reality so that he can stop his alternate version from harming his family.

Dark Matter Season 1 ended on a very interesting note from where it can go anywhere because while the first season had a satisfying enough conclusion, but it also left a big fat door open for the story to continue.
