Prime Video‘s hit superhero series The Boys‘ universe just got even bigger with the streaming revealing a new poster and the release for the upcoming The Boys spin-off series Gen V. Earlier this year, The Boys creator Eric Kripke teased that the studio will have many exciting announcements and that certainly came true. Prime Video has revealed that Gen V will have a three-episode premiere on the streaming giant on September 29.
Gen V will revolve around a handful of students enrolled at Vought International’s Godolkin University School of Crimefighting. Where they will go through harsh tests to examine their strengths and how they can be of use to the company. But like any teen series Gen V will also deal with physical, psychological, and sexual themes. The Boys fans will also have some gruesome moments in the upcoming spin-off to cheer for.
Gen V stars Jazz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, Chance Perdomo, London Thor, Derek Luh, Shelley Conn, Sean Patrick Thomas, Marco Pigossi, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Asa Germann. The spin-off series will also see some of The Boys characters making an appearance including Jessie T. Usher‘s A-Train, P.J. Byrne‘s Adam Bourke, and Colby Minifie‘s Ashley Barrett.
The Boys’ spin-off series was developed by Craig Rosenberg, with Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters taking on the duties of co-showrunners. Kripke and Rosenberg will also be credited as executive producers alongside Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Gen V is coming to Prime Video with its first three episodes on September 29, with the rest of the episodes coming out weekly. Check out the new Poster below:
