James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has revealed a huge stack of storyboards for the upcoming film as the production is about to begin on the film. The highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is all set to debut in theaters in May 2023. It was confirmed last year that the script had already been written for the film, despite the film’s production beginning until later 2021.
There is not much known about the plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but it has been speculated that this will be the last Guardians film in the franchise. Gunn has stated in the past that he doesn’t think he will be directing more Guardians of the Galaxy films, and the film’s star Dave Bautista who plays the role of Drax also thinks that it will also be his last Guardians film. The entire original cast will return for the third installment including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Bautista.
A few days ago, Gunn revealed he begins storyboarding for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and now he has just shared a peek of the process. Gunn posted a picture of a large stack of storyboards on Twitter, and he explained that the stack represents “12 pages of script & will be the foundation for this section of the film.” Check out Gunn’s tweet below:
