After a very long wait, Prime Video has finally announced the release of its alternate history drama Hunters. Nearly two years after the second season of the series was announced, Hunters Season 2 is finally coming out on January 13, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Prime Video has also released a brand new first look for the upcoming season which shows us the titular Hunters back on their mission to find the hidden Nazis. While the fans of the series are saddened to hear that the second season of Hunters will be its last, the creator of the series David Weil has suggested that the ending is worthwhile.
Hunters Season 1 followed the titular Hunters, as they team up to hunt down Nazi war criminals who are hiding in America. Who is executing their next nefarious plan called the Fourth Reich, which is supposed to take place in the United States.
Weil also revealed that the second season will show two timelines. The first timeline will show our heroes hunting Nazis and the second timeline will show past events allowing Al Pacino to return to reprise his role in the second and final season.
The second season also stars Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, and Kate Mulvany. The new stars joining the series are Jennifer Jason Leigh (Atypical), Chava Apfelbaum, Tommy Martinez (Good Trouble), and Emily Rudd.
