John Wick fans will be happy to hear that John Wick 4 has wrapped up filming, according to an Instagram post by Shamier Anderson. The actor posted several images to celebrate the end of the filming, featuring Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, and possibly the title for the next film, which could be Hagaruke. Chad Stahelski returns to the director’s chair for the upcoming movie, which will be released on May 27.
Anderson also shared that it was a very positive experience to work on the film, which has been filming since June. The second image in his post is the most interesting one, as it features a drawstring backpack with John Wick 4: Hagaruke on it. Hagaruke means hidden by the leaves, and it refers to a practical and spiritual guide for a warrior.
John Wick 4 might pick up the story where the third film left off, with Wick joining hands with Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) to take The High Table down. Nothing else is known about the plot of the upcoming film.
Asides from Yen, Reeves, Fishburne, and Anderson, John Wick 4 cast will also include Ian McShane as Winson and Lance Reddick as Charon, Bill Skarsgård (It), b (Mortal Kombat), Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange), and Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption).
