HBO Max has revealed the first teaser and release date for the second season of its upcoming anthology series Love Life. The first three episodes of the series will premiere on HBO Max on October 28, with the second season now focusing on the newly single Marcus Watkins (Jackson Harper).
Love Life Season 2 will tell the story of Marcus Watkins as he separates from his long-time girlfriend, who he thought was going to be his person. The rug pulled out from under him, Watkins is reluctantly back into the search for the love and fulfillment that he thought he already had.
Love Life Season 2 will premiere on HBO Max on October 28 with its first three episodes and then another three episodes will be available on November 4, and the final four episodes will be streaming on HBO Max on November 11, making the total of ten episodes.
The anthology series stars Harper, Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson, and Chris “Comedian CP” Powell. The recurring guest stars are Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb, Steven Boyer, and Earl Jelks. Anna Kendrick, Zoë Chao, Peter Vack, Sasha Compére, and Nick Thune from the first season will also be appearing in the second season, while Keith David serves as the narrator of the series.
Love Life Season 2’s showrunners and creators are Sam Boyd, Bridget Bedard, and Rachelle Williams. Boyd, Bedard, and Williams will also be serving as executive producers alongside Kendrick, Harper, Paul Feig, and Dan Magnante. The series is produced by Lionsgate Television and Feigco Entertainment.
