Netflix’s Red Notice, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson, and Gal Gadot will resume filming next month.
Red Notice follows an Interpol agent and master tracker (Dwayne Johnson), as he tries to catch the world’s greatest art thief (Gal Gadot) with the help of the world’s most notorious con man (Ryan Reynolds). Red Notice began filming in January of this year but was brought to an abrupt stop due to the coronavirus pandemic in March.
Reynolds kept it interesting as he always does, he released a new set of photos of him and Dwyane Johnson on Johnson’s birthday. But as many films are returning to production, so is Red Notice and it resumes filming next month.
Johnson released a new video on Instagram titled “Back to work we go” as he announced that Netflix’s Red Notice will resume filming in mid-September and they are going to extreme lengths for the safety of everyone on the set from coronavirus as they building a quarantine bubble on the set as they did in the NBA and they are also in contact with the NBA to know the effectiveness of it and what has been challenging about it.

Judging by Johnson’s video, Red Notice is trying to make the safest production possible for its stars and crew. Everybody is waiting for the completion of this film because if Red Notice completes its shoot Dwyane Johnson will be free for Black Adam which starts filming next year and also Netflix will want to add another big movie to their always-expanding library of movies which they hope will follow in the footsteps of Reynold’s 6 Underground which was the fourth most-watched film on Netflix. If they complete filming Red Notice this year we will get to see the film sometime in 2021.
