About a Boy is a comedy series created by Jason Katims. Based on the 1998 novel of the same name by author Nick Hornby, the NBC series follows Will Freeman, a successful songwriter who loves living a carefree life as a bachelor in San Francisco, but his perfect life takes a turn when a single mother and her 11-year-old son move in next door. Speak No Evil (December 6)
Speak No Evil is a psychological horror thriller film written and directed by James Watkins. Based on the 2022 Danish-Dutch film of the same name by Christian and Mads Tafdrup, the 2024 film follows an American couple on their dream holiday but when they are invited to spend a weekend at a British family’s idyllic country estate, their dream vacation soon turns into a nightmare. Speak No Evil stars James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy.
Strays (December 6)
Strays is a comedy adventure film directed by Josh Greenbaum from a screenplay by Dan Perrault. The 2023 film follows Reggie, an abandoned dog who teams up with several strays to get revenge on his abusive owner who never treated him with love. Strays stars Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher, Randall Park, Brett Gelman, and Will Forte.
Colony Seasons 1-3 (December 9)
Colony is a dystopian sci-fi drama series created by Carlton Cuse and Ryan J. Condal. The USA Network series is set in a dystopian Los Angeles under a regime of military occupation, but when an force intrudes a colony some families collaborate with them while others decide to rebel against them. Defiance Seasons 1-3 (December 9)
Defiance is a sci-fi Western drama series created by Rockne S. O’Bannon, Kevin Murphy, and Michael Taylor. Laid is an upcoming mystery romantic-comedy series written by Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna. The Peacock series follows a young woman who discovers with the help of her friend that all of her former lovers are dying in unusual ways, and now she must inform everyone she had sex with about their impending death. Five Nights At Freddy’s (December 26)
Five Nights At Freddy’s is a supernatural horror film directed by Emma Tammi who also co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback. Based on the video game series of the same name by Scott Cawthon, the 2023 film follows Mike Schmidt, a troubled security guard who begins working at an abandoned pizzeria and soon discovers that the souls of murdered children possess the animatronic mascots in the pizzeria.
