The Super Mario Bros. Movie (October 3)
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is an animated fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel. Based on the Mario video game franchise developed by Nintendo, the 2023 film follows the story of Brooklyn plumber Mario who is transported alongside his brother Luigi into a magical world through a mysterious pipe, but Mario and Luigi become separated and now Mario must find him. The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, and Fred Armisen.
Blackwater Lane (October 4)
Blackwater Lane is a supernatural horror thriller film directed by Jeff Celentano from a screenplay by Elizabeth Fowler. Based on the 2017 novel titled The Breakdown by author B.A. Paris, the 2024 film follows the story of Cass who witnesses a tragedy on a country road and is soon haunted by a supernatural presence. She soon begins to lose her mind until she comes across horrific plot against her. Blackwater Lane stars Minka Kelly, Maggie Grace, Dermot Mulroney, Natalie Simpson, Pandora Clifford, and Alan Calton.
Dìdi (October 4)
Dìdi is a coming-of-age comedy drama film written and directed by Sean Wang. The 2024 film is set in 2008 in the Bay Area and it follows a 13-year-old Taiwanese American boy as he struggles with fitting in and the chaos of adolescence. Dìdi stars Izaac Wang, Joan Chen, Shirley Chen, Chang Li Hua, Raul Dial, Aaron Chang, and Mahaela Park.
Found Season 2 (October 4)
Found returns with more thrilling mysteries in its Season 2. Created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll, the NBC mystery thriller crime drama series will continue the story of Gabi Mosley after her obsessive kidnapper named Sir escapes from her captivity and kidnaps her sister. Now, she must find her sister and try to capture him again. Found stars Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi.
The Irrational Season 2 (October 9)
The Irrational returns with Professor Alec Mercer in its Season 2. Created by Arika Mittman, the NBC police procedural crime drama series is based on the 2008 non-fiction book titled Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely. In The Irrational Season 2, Professor Alec Mercer, a brilliant behavioral psychologist who teaches by day and investigates complicated criminal cases by night. The Irrational stars Jesse L. Martin, Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, and Arash DeMaxi.
Teacup Season 1 (October 10)
Teacup is an upcoming horror thriller drama series created by Ian McCulloch. Based on the 1988 novel titled Stinger by author Robert R. McCammon, the upcoming Peacock series follows a group of people in rural Georgia who must stick together to fight against a mysterious threat. Teacup stars Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, and Caleb Dolden.
Hysteria! Season 1 (October 18)
Hysteria! is a thriller drama series created by Matthew Scott Kane. The upcoming Peacock series is set during the Satanic panic of the 1980s after a beloved varsity quarterback goes missing and a trio of outcasts try to capitalize on it by starting a satanic metal band but soon their idea of becoming popular takes a bad turn when they become the target of a witch hunt. Happy’s Place Season 1 (October 19)
Happy’s Place is an upcoming comedy series created by Kevin Abbott. The NBC series follows the story of a woman who inherits her father’s restaurant and also finds out that she has a half-sister. Happy’s Place stars Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, Belissa Escobedo, Rex Linn, Pablo Castelblanco, and Tokala Black Elk.
Lopez vs. Lopez Season 3 (October 19)
Lopez vs. Lopez will return for a third season this October. Created by George Lopez, Mayan Lopez, and Debby Wolfe, the NBC comedy series will see Mayan and George going through big changes in Season 3 after the events of the Season 2 finale. Lopez vs. Lopez stars George and Mayan Lopez in the lead roles with Matt Shively, Brice Gonzalez, Selenis Leyva, and Al Madrigal starring in supporting roles.
Despicable Me 4 (October 31)
Despicable Me 4 is an animated comedy film directed by Chris Renaud from a screenplay co-written by Mike White and Ken Daurio. The 2024 film is the fourth entry in the Despicable Me franchise and it continues the story of Gru and family who have to go into hiding after a supervillain they caught escapes from jail and vows to harm them.
