Based on a 2020 podcast of the same name by Jeff Keating and Jim Roberts, the Peacock series is set in the 1970s and it revolves around a heist that occurred on the epic night of Muhammad Ali’s return to boxing which sets off a string of murders as a pioneering Black detective gets entangled into a high-stakes case involving ruthless criminals.
