Prime Video is ready with an entertainment-packed October this year. The upcoming month will see the return of some of Prime Video’s best original shows including The Legend of Vox Machina and also new hit movies like Challengers. Just like every month, Prime Video is ready to overload you with great content. So, we’re here to tell you about the 12 new movies and TV shows coming to Prime Video in October 2024.

Challengers (October 1)

Challengers is a romantic sports drama film directed by Luca Guadagnino from a screenplay by Justin Kuritzkes. The 2024 film revolves around a love triangle between an injured tennis star turned coach, her low-circuit tennis player ex-boyfriend, and her tennis champion husband in a span of 13 years. Challengers stars Zendaya, Josh O’Connor, and Mike Faist in the lead roles with Darnell Appling, Shane Harris, and Nada Despotovich starring in supporting roles.

The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3 (October 3)

The Legend of Vox Machina returns for its much-awaited Season 3. Based on the first campaign of Dungeons & Dragons titled Critical Role, the adult animated series is created by Critical Role Productions and the upcoming season will see our favorite band of misfits rise up once again to stop the Chroma Conclave from destroying everything.

House of Spoils (October 3)

House of Spoils is a supernatural horror thriller film written and directed by Bridget Savage Cole and Danielle Krudy. The upcoming Prime Video film follows the story of a chef who opens her new restaurant in a house upstate but a powerful spirit on the estate and the general kitchen chaos make her life a living hell. House of Spoils stars Ariana DeBose in the lead role with Barbie Ferreira, Arian Moayed, Marton Csokas, and Amara Karan starring in supporting roles.

Citadel: Diana Season 1 (October 10)

Citadel: Diana is an Italian spy action thriller drama series developed by Alessandro Fabbri. The upcoming Prime Video series is set in the Citadel universe in Milan, 2030, eight years after Citadel was destroyed leaving Citadel agent Diana Cavalieri undercover behind enemy lines in Manticore Italy. When she sees a chance to escape and disappear forever she must trust someone unthinkable to make her dreams a reality. Citadel: Diana stars Matilda De Angelis, Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, Julia Piaton, and Thekla Reuten.

Beyond Black Beauty Season 1 (October 15)

Beyond Black Beauty is a family drama series created by Carmen Pilar Golden. The upcoming Prime Video series follows the story of Jolie Dubois whose dream of becoming an Equestrian Olympic athlete is put on hold when her mother moves them from Belgium’s elite stables to a family ranch in Baltimore. Beyond Black Beauty stars Kaya Coleman, Ashton James, Akiel Julien, Sagine Sémajuste, Lisa Berry, and Maia Jae Bastidas.

Brothers (October 17)

Brothers is a crime action comedy film directed by Max Barbakow from a screenplay by Macon Blair. The upcoming Prime Video film follows the story of Moke, a reformed criminal who tries to do the right thing but soon after reuniting with estranged twin brother Jady, he is lured into getting the score of a lifetime. Now, they must ditch the law, an overbearing mother, and their differences on a road trip to hell. Brothers stars Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage in the lead roles with Marisa Tomei, Taylour Paige, Glenn Close, Brendan Fraser, M. Emmett Walsh, and Jennifer Landon starring in supporting roles.

The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh (October 17)

The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh is a mystery comedy series created by Vijal Patel. The upcoming Prime Video series revolves around an Indian family who moved to Pittsburg to start their new life but it seems like it doesn’t work out for them as they are getting investigated for lighting a house on fire two years later after they moved to America. The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh stars Arjun Sriram, Sahana Srinivasan, Sindhu Vee, Ashwin Sakthivel, Laura Summer, and Pete Holmes.

The Office (October 18)

The Office is an Australian remake of the iconic comedy series of the same name. Created by Julie De Fina and Jackie van Beek, the upcoming revolves around the employees of Flinley Craddick and its managing director Hannah Howard, an incompetent buffoon who tries to keep everyone together by any means necessary. The Office stars Felicity Ward, Edith Poor, Steen Raskopoulos, Shari Sebbens, and Jonny Brugh.

The Devil’s Hour Season 2 (October 18)

The Devil’s Hour returns for a much anticipated Season 2 for more intense dramatic moments and a thrilling story. Created by Tom Moran, the upcoming new season will serve as a sequel and a prequel to the first season at the same time as Gideon’s true intentions with Lucy are revealed. The Devil’s Hour Season 2 stars Jessica Raine and Peter Capaldi in the lead roles with Benjamin Chivers, Phil Dunster, Nikesh Patel, and Alex Ferns starring in supporting roles.

Like A Dragon: Yakuza (October 24)

Like A Dragon: Yakuza is an action crime drama series created by Sean Crouch and Yugo Nakamura. Based on the video game franchise titled Yakuza developed by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the upcoming Prime Video series is set in the fictional huge entertainment district of Kamurochō and it follows a group of fierce Yakuza gangsters. Like A Dragon: Yakuza stars Ryoma Takeuchi, Kento Kaku, and Munetaka Aoki.

Canary Black (October 24)

Canary Black is a spy action-thriller drama series directed by Pierre Morel from a screenplay by Matthew Kennedy. The upcoming Prime Video film follows the story of CIA agent Avery Graves whose husband is kidnapped and she is forced to steal sensitive information from the CIA and betray her country. Canary Black stars Kate Beckinsale in the lead role with Rupert Friend, Ray Stevenson, and Saffron Burrows starring in supporting roles.

Nautilus (October 25)

Nautilus is a British adventure drama series created by James Dormer. Based on the 1869 novel titled Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas by author Jules Verne, the upcoming Prime Video series follows the story of an Indian prince who sets out on a mission for revenge in a prototype submarine. Nautilus stars Shazad Latif, Georgia Flood, Thierry Frémont, Pacharo Mzembe, Arlo Green, and Tyrone Ngatai.
