The 2024 film is set on the last night of 1999, and it follows a group of high school juniors who crash a party but soon find themselves trying to survive the horrors of Y2K. Conclave is a religious, political thriller film directed by Edward Berger from a screenplay by Peter Straughan. Based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Robert Harris, the 2024 film follows Cardinal Thomas Lawrence as he is chosen to assemble a conclave to elect the next after the current pope suddenly dies of a heart attack. Conclave stars Ralph Fiennes, Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, and Isabella Rossellini.

Based on the 1989 non-fiction book The Silent Brotherhood: The Chilling Inside Story of America’s Violent, Anti-Government Militia Movement by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt, the 2024 film follows FBI Agent Terry Husk, whose investigation into a series of robberies leads him to a white supremacist group, who are planning to overthrow the federal government. The Order stars Jude Law, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Jurnee Smollett, Alison Oliver, and Marc Maron.

Gladiator II is a historical epic action and political drama series created by Ridley Scott and David Scarpa. The 2024 legacy sequel film is set sixteen years after the death of Marcus Aurelius, and it follows Lucius as he enters the Colosseum as a gladiator to reclaim the honour of Rome.
