A Minecraft Movie is a fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Jared Hess from a screenplay co-written by Chris Bowman, Hubbel Palmer, Neil Widener, Gavin James, and Chris Galletta. Based on the popular sandbox game Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios, the 2025 film follows a group of misfits as they are pulled into the Overworld, where they must go on a perilous adventure to return home. A Minecraft Movie stars Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Sebastian Hansen.
Hell of a Summer (In Theatres Right Now)
Hell of a Summer is a comedy horror film co-written and co-directed by Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk. The 2024 film follows a group of camp counselors as they prepare for the arrival of campers but before that can happen a masked killer begins killing the staff. Hell of a Summer stars Fred Hechinger, Abby Quinn, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Billy Bryk, Finn Wolfhard, Pardis Saremi, and Adam Pally.
Drop (April 11)
Drop is an upcoming mystery thriller film directed by Christopher Landon from a screenplay co-written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. The 2025 film follows Violet, a widowed mother who goes on a date, but during her date, she is threatened through anonymous messages that are coming to her phone. Drop stars Meghann Fahy, Brandon Sklenar, Violett Beane, Jacob Robinson, Ben Pelletier, Gabrielle Ryan, Jeffrey Seif, Ed Weeks, and Travis Nelson.
The Amateur (April 11)
The Amateur is an upcoming vigilante spy action thriller film directed by James Hawes from a screenplay co-written by Ken Nolan and Gary Spinelli. Based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell, the 2025 film follows Charles Heller, a CIA cryptographer whose wife is murdered by terrorists in London. To take revenge, he embarks on a one-man mission to kill every terrorist who had a hand in killing his wife. Warfare is an upcoming war action film co-written and co-directed by Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland. The 2025 film is set during the Iraq War, and it follows a team of Navy SEALs in real-time as they execute a mission in an insurgent territory. The Accountant 2 is an upcoming action thriller film directed by Gavin O’Connor from a screenplay by Bill Dubuque. The 2025 sequel film follows forensic accountant Christian Wolff as he teams up with estranged brother Brax to find a mysterious assassin who murdered Raymond King. On Swift Horses is a romantic drama film directed by Daniel Minahan from a screenplay by Bryce Kass. Based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Shannon Pufahl, the 2024 film follows Muriel and Lee, a couple, as they start fresh after Lee returns from the Korean War, but their new life is threatened when Lee’s charismatic gambler brother comes into their lives.
