Netflix is ready with an entertainment-packed October this year. The upcoming month will see the return of some of Netflix’s best original shows including Heartstopper and Outer Banks and also new brilliant shows like Territory. Just like every month, Netflix is ready to overload you with great content. So, we’re here to tell you about the 10 TV shows coming to Netflix in October 2024.

Yellowjackets Season 1 (October 1)

Yellowjackets is a psychological mystery horror thriller drama series created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The Showtime series follows the story of a group of teenagers who were involved in a plane crash in 1996 in the Ontario wilderness and its consequences which affect them as adults in 2021. Yellowjackets stars Ella Purnell, Sophie Thatcher, Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Sophie Nélisse, and Samantha Hanratty.

Heartstopper Season 3 (October 3)

Get ready for one more season of heartwarming stories and charming characters in the third season of Heartstopper. Based on the webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman, who is also the creator of the series. Season 3 will have Charlie, Nick, and friends facing a new school year that will bring new challenges and opportunities with itself. Heartstopper stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, and Tobie Donovan.

Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1 (October 10)

Get ready for one last ride with the Outer Banks gang in its upcoming Part 1 of its fourth and final season. Created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, Season 4 of Outer Banks sees the gang 18 months after we saw them last in the Season 3 finale where they were proposed to find the Blackbeard’s treasure by Wes Genrette and tell us the story of those 18 months. Outer Banks stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Pierce Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Carlacia Grant, Drew Starkey, Austin North, and Fiona Palomo.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Season 1 (October 10)

Tom Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is an animated action-adventure series developed by Tasha Huo. Based on the media franchise of the same name developed by Crystal Dynamics, the upcoming Netflix series is set after the Tomb Raider trilogy and it follows Lara Croft before we saw her in the original series of games. Tom Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft’s voice cast includes Hayley Atwell, Allen Maldonado, and Earl Baylon.

Detroiters Season 1-2 (October 15)

Detroiters is a comedy series created by Sam Richardson, Tim Robinson, Zack Kanin, and Joe Kelly. The Comedy Central series follows two best friends and next-door neighbors Sam Duvet and Tim Cramblin working together as creatives in Tim’s family’s advertising agency to make low-budget TV commercials for local businesses but they dream of making it big in the advertising industry. Detroiters stars Sam Richardson and Tim Robinson in the lead roles with Shawntay Dalon, Pat Vern Harris, Lailani Ledesma, and Andre Belue starring in supporting roles.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 (October 17)

The Lincoln Lawyer returns for a much anticipated Season 3 for more intense legal thrills. Created by David E. Kelley, the legal drama series is based on Michael Connelly’s books, and in this season we will see Mickey Haller take on a new case connected to his past. The Lincoln Lawyer stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson, and Yaya DaCosta.

Escape at Dannemora Season 1 (October 22)

Escape at Dannemora is a thriller drama miniseries created by Brett Johnson and Michael Tolkin. Based on the 2015 Clinton Correctional Facility escape, the Showtime series revolves around the escape and the manhunt of two killers who were aided by a married female prison employee. Escape at Dannemora stars Benicio del Toro, Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano, Bonnie Hunt, Eric Lange, and David Morse.

Territory Season 1 (October 24)

Territory is an upcoming Australian neo-Western drama series created by Ben Davies and Timothy Lee. The upcoming Netflix series follows a deadly succession battle after the world’s largest cattle station, Marianne Station, is left without a clear successor, while the succession battle goes on rival cattle farmers, various gangsters, Indigenous elders, and mining magnates try to make Marianne Station their own. Territory stars Anna Torv, Michael Dorman, Robert Taylor, Sam Corlett, Sara Wiseman, Dan Wyllie, Clarence Ryan, Jay Ryan, Philippa Northeast, Joe Klocek, and Kylah Day.

Hellbound Season 2 (October 25)

After the long wait of nearly three years, the much-anticipated Season 2 of Hellbound is finally here. Based on the webtoon of the same name by Yeon Sang-ho, Season 2 of Hellbound will see the world plunge into even more chaos after the previously condemned Chairman Jung Jinsu and Park Jungja are resurrected. Hellbound Season 2 stars Kim Sung-Cheol, Kim Hyun-joo, Kim Shin-rock, Moon So-ri, Lee Dong-hee, Cho Dong-in, Moon Geun-young, Im Sung-jae, and Yang Ik-june.

The Diplomat Season 2 (October 31)

The Diplomat returns for a much-anticipated Season 2 in October. Created by Debora Cahn, the upcoming season of the political thriller drama series will see Kate Wyler embroiled in a deadly conspiracy after the events of the Season 1 finale. After figuring out that the attack brought her to the UK was actually an inside job and her only ally in this mole hunt is her soon-to-be ex-husband Hal Wyler. The Diplomat stars Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, David Gyasi, Allison Janney, Ali Ahn, Rory Kinnear, Ato Essandoh, Celia Imrie, Michael McKean, Nana Mensah, and Miguel Sandoval.
