The brilliant Apple TV+‘s South Korean historical drama series is finally returning for its highly anticipated second season. Created by Soo Hugh, the Apple TV+ series is based on a 2017 novel of the same name by author Min Jin Lee, the second season of the critically acclaimed series Pachinko picks up seven years after the events of the first season finale.
Pachinko Season 2 is set in Osaka in 1945, where Sunja is working hard to raise her two boys with the help of her kindhearted sister-in-law after her husband was arrested in the Season 1 finale. In the 1980s timeline, Sunja’s grandson Solomon tries to build a successful business but struggles with continued discrimination against Koreans in Japan.
