Slow Horses Season 2 is finally returning for its second season this Christmas season. Based on Mick Herron’s brilliant novel of the same name, the first season of Slow Horses follows River Cartwright (Jack Lowden), who ends up in Slough House after a botched training mission. Slough House is a part of MI-5, but everybody there are the rejects, who aren’t capable of being real agents, they are known as Slow Horses to the rest of the agents and the head of the Slough House is Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), a mean old man who once was a brilliant field agent. The series follows Cartwright’s relentless drive to get out of the Slough House.
Soon after the first season aired its finale in April 2022, we found out that the second season of the series had already been shot and the series was renewed for its third and fourth seasons in advance. The second season of Slow Horses is based on Dead Lions, the second novel in the Slow Horses book series. Slow Horses Season 2 will have six episodes (same as the first one), and in that chronological order, the third and fourth seasons will be based on Real Tigers and Spook Street.

Slow Horses Season 2 will be consisting of six episodes just like its previous season. The first two episodes of the series will premiere on December 2 on Apple TV+, with the finale airing on January 6, 2023.

Slow Horses Season 2 – Who is in It?
Slow Horses Season 2 returning cast includes Oldman, Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Dustin Demri-Burns, Christopher Chung, Freddie Fox, Chris Reilly, Samuel West, and Jonathan Pryce. The new cast member joining the series in the second season are Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan, and Rade Šerbedžija, who will be playing the role of a former Russian agent Nikolai Katinsky.
