HBO has just renewed one of the most acclaimed series Succession for a fourth season, the news comes after two weeks of the third season’s premiere. The renewal announcement was made by Francesca Orsi, the Executive Vice President of HBO Programming. The first episode of Succession Season 3 was watched by over 1.4 million viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter, these numbers match some of HBO’s biggest hit shows like Lovecraft Country.

Succession has won many words including several Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series in both 2019 and 2020. In short, the f**king Roy family drama is one of the best shows out there right now. The series tells the story of the Roy family, who owns one of the biggest media companies in America and it follows the internal family drama of who will take over the CEO chair from the family patriarch Logan Roy (Brian Cox).

The series also stars Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, Sarah Snook as Siobhan Roy, Kieran Culkin as Roman Roy, Alan Ruck as Connor Roy, Nicholas Braun as Cousin Greg, Matthew Macfadyen as Tom Wambsgans, J. Smith Cameron as Gerri, Hiam Abbass as Marcia Roy, and Peter Friedman as Frank.

Succession is created by Jesse Armstrong, who also serves as the showrunner and an executive producer on the series. Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy, and Will Ferrell also serve as executive producers on the series.

There is no news on when will Succession Season 4 will begin production, but for now we are still waiting for the next episode in the third season which is coming to HBO and HBO Max this Sunday.
