If you are a big fan of the USA Network legal drama series Suits, then you are in a bit of luck as it was recently announced that a Los Angeles-based spin-off of the series titled Suits: LA has been given the go-ahead with a season order by NBC. The news was announced with a first-look image of the star of the series, Stephen Amell.
While NBC still hasn’t scheduled the series for a release it is being speculated that the spin-off series could come out in the second half of the 2024-25 season.
Created by the original Suits creator Aaron Korsh, Suits: LA will follow the story of Ted Black (Amell), a former Federal prosecutor from New York as he leads a law firm in Los Angeles with a complex group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other. If that sounds familiar, it is the premise of Suits but with a new cast and characters and also a new city.
Alongside Amell, Suits: LA also stars Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen, Rachelle Goulding as Samantha, Troy Winbush as Kevin, Victoria Justice as Dylan Pryor, John Amos as himself, Alice Lee as Leah, and Kevin Weisman as Lester Thompson.
So, get ready for an all-new Suits series coming soon.
