In a surprising turn of events, Apple TV+ has decided to go ahead with Season 4 of the immensely beloved sports comedy series Ted Lasso. The future of the show was up in the air after Season 3 felt like the final season of the series with every plotline wrapped neatly in a bow, but according to Deadline, Apple TV+ has renewed Ted Lasso Season 4.

Deadline also confirms that Warner Bros. Television has already picked up the option for three original cast members to return and they are Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift and it is now believed that they will be securing the contacts of the American actors in the show including the lead, co-creator, and executive producer of the series Jason Sudeikis and also Brendan Hunt.

While not much is clear as to who will return or what Season 4 will be about, but the fans must be overjoyed as they were pretty anxious when it was announced that there were no plans for a Season 4 by the creatives behind the series.

At this point, it is believed that Sudeikis is on board for a new season of Ted Lasso as it would be pretty hard to make a new season without the title character, even though his contract is not final yet. So, let’s hope that all of our favorites return and give us another hopeful and hilarious season of peak television.

Stay tuned in with CinemaBlind for further updates on Ted Lasso Season 4.
