The spinoff of the 90s hit series The Golden Girl titled The Golden Palace is coming exclusively to Hulu on January 10. The spinoff series is coming on the streamer as a celebration of the series star Betty White‘s 100th birthday which is just 7 days later.
Even though The Golden Palace’s run was very short on the air as in it was on the air only for one season it has become one of the classics and it is loved by millions today. The series has been mostly unavailable on streaming services.
The Golden Palace picks up the story right where The Golden Girls series finale left off with Dorothy now being married and leaving the group, the remaining three Sophia (Estelle Getty), Blanche (Rue McClanahan), and Rose (White) decide to invest in a Miami hotel that is for sale.
The Golden Palace originally aired from 1992-1993 on CBS, it has a 24 episode run after which it was canceled by CBS. The Golden Girls series is available on Hulu right now with The Golden Palace coming to the streamer on January 10.
