It has been a long way for Michael Rianda and Jeff Rowe‘s animated film The Mitchells vs. The Machines – On its way to Netflix but it’s finally coming to Netflix this April.

The Mitchells vs. The Machines previously named Connected is finally coming to Netflix on April 30. The film is about the Mitchell family who goes on a cross-country road trip to drop their daughter off to college, but a robot apocalypse happens when they are on their way, now the Mitchell family has to save the world from robot.

The official logline by Netflix for the Date Announcement trailer is:

“THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES, a new animated family comedy from the humans who brought you Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse and The Lego Movie, speeds onto Netflix on April 30 with Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Mike Rianda, Eric Andre, Olivia Colman, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Charlyne Yi, Blake Griffin, Conan O’Brien, Doug the Pug, Sasheer Zamata, Elle Mills, Alex Hirsch, and Jay Pharoah.”
