In addition to these, there is a cast whose characters have not been disclosed yet and those are, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosío, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, and Jenniffer Holland.
The Suicide Squad – Sequel or Reboot?
Although this Suicide Squad is being treated like a sequel to the 2017 Suicide Squad, it is not. It’s more of a soft reboot and the producer Peter Safran went as far as to call it a total reboot. Gunn has changed many characters and the tone of the film so we can believe Safran when he says that and I think it is a good thing that this is a reboot and a sequel because I didn’t really like the 2017 Suicide Squad that much.
