Every Spider-Man fan is currently waiting for two Spider-Man films to come out the first being the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the second being the next Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man film. The upcoming Sony Marvel Spider-Man film will go back to Spider-Man’s roots as he replaces his techy suits with the classic Spider-Man suit.

After the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sony quickly announced that they would be making another trilogy with Tom Holland as the Spider-Man, and while the actor still hasn’t signed on to reprise the role for the upcoming Marvel Spider-Man film. Spider-Man: No Way Home was a big success plus it brought every generation of Spider-Man together and now a notable insider Jeff Sneider and his publication The Ankler have come out and said that while nothing official has been announced yet Holland’s Spider-Man 4 remains a “top priority” for the studio. Read what he published below:

“Okay, so Sony may not have the biggest bench in terms of franchises, but it wisely made a deal with Marvel Studios to get its marquee character Spider-Man into the MCU, which helped make the studio’s solo Spidey movies must-sees, even more so. And while plans are in motion for another Spidey trilogy starring Tom Holland, I don’t believe he has actually signed a deal yet, so those plans remain unofficial for now. That said, I’m sure that more Spidey adventures with Holland are a top priority for Rothman & Co., which is also counting on him as the anchor of its budding Uncharted franchise as well.”

While nothing has been officially announced, recent reports have suggested that Sony is trying to reunite the stars Tom Holland and Zendaya with director Jon Watts for Spider-Man 4. This decision will be a dream come true for some fans but some fans might wonder if the studio should try to take the franchise in another direction with a new studio and a bit darker tone with some hope at the end of the tunnel.

Note: Spoilers for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Below.

The ending of No Way Home saw everyone forgetting that Peter Parker and Spider-Man are the same people and with that everyone seems to have forgotten who Peter Parker is and now the next sequel will find our hero alone fighting with everything he has for New York City.
