Venom: Let There Be Carnage reportedly will not be delayed until next year and is still set for its October release in theaters. The highly anticipated Venom sequel was originally supposed to come out last fall but due to multiple delays mostly because of the pandemic, the film got its September release but it was delayed again to October.

Venom 2 is just a couple of months away, and the uncertainty about its release is really high with highly contagious Delta variant scaring moviegoers and good films like The Suicide Squad performing poorly on the box office. It was looking like Sony will delay Venom: Let There Be Carnage to 2022, but that seems to be false information.
