Netflix has just revealed the first look images and release date of its much anticipated historical drama series titled Vikings: Valhalla. The upcoming series is a spinoff of the hit History TV series Vikings, which finished its run with its sixth and final season in December 2020.
Vikings: Valhalla is created by Michael Hirst who also created the original series and it is set in the early 11th century and tells the story of the legendary adventures of some of the most well-known Vikings including Leif Eriksson, Freyis Eriksdotter, Harald Hardrada, and the Norman King William the Conqueror.
The regular cast of Valhalla includes Sam Corlett (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Frida Gustavsson (Swoon), Leo Suter (The Liberator), Bradley Freegard (Keeping Faith), Jóhannes Jóhannesson (Cursed), Laura Berlin (Immenhof – The Adventure of a Summer), David Oakes (The Pillars of the Earth) and Caroline Henderson (Tuya Siempre) and Pollyanna McIntosh and Asbjørn Krogh Nissen will be appearing in recurring roles.

Vikings: Valhalla is all set to premiere on Netflix on February 25, 2022. Check out the first-look images below:
