His fiancée Joycelyn Savage is "very excited" with the news she is five months pregnant with Kelly's baby and has sent ET a sonogram to prove it.
However, this news sparks another controversy. Jennifer Bonjean, Kelly's lawyer, said clearly in Tweet:
Given that Kelly has been in prison for more than a year and there is no sign that he is allowed conjugal visits, it would seem impossible that Savage would have the chance to pregnant.
Savage explains that she and Kelly started IVF treatment before he was arrested. She told ET, and said:
“When he got sent to prison, we paused on it and I had them freeze my eggs until I was ready. Once his lawyer did find out, she wanted me to have an abortion because she didn’t feel that now was the time for me to have a child following the 30-year sentence.
It will be difficult to figure out what exactly is going on here. The most unkind interpretation is that Savage is not pregnant and is only attempting to gain attention for her book, as Kelly's lawyer maintains.
Another possibility is that Savage is truly pregnant, in which case Bonjean would be quite upset if a prosecution could show that Kelly and Savage had sexual contact while Bonjean was imprisoned because it would severely affect his chances of getting an appeal.
We believe there will be more drama in this case. Kelly, for one, maintains his innocence and plans to appeal his sentence.
