If you missed the Sydney Sweeney horror mystery film Immaculate in theaters then worry not because it’s finally available for you to stream in the comfort of your own home. Directed by Michael Mohan from a screenplay by Andrew Lobel, the 2024 film did receive mixed reviews upon its release but the star power of Sweeney and a lot of buzz for the film made it one of the most anticipated horror films of the year.
Immaculate follows the story of Sister Cecilia, an American nun as she begins a new chapter in life by joining a remote convent in the Italian countryside. However, her new dream life in the quaint countryside convent quickly turns into a nightmare when she uncovers a dark sinister secret hidden at her new home.

Immaculate was acquired by NEON for US distribution in December 2023 and then it had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 12, 2024. The Sweeney film opened to mixed reviews in theaters but because of the small budget of $9 million, it became profitable earning $28.4 million at the box office globally. Immaculate became available to purchase digitally on several VOD platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play Movies & TV Shows, and many more. Now, the horror mystery film is finally available to stream on Hulu from August 16, 2024.
