Netflix has just announced the release date for the highly anticipated return of Joe Goldberg in You Season 3, via a YouTube video. The third season of the thriller series will hit Netflix on October 15, 2021.
You Season 2 ended with, Joe (Penn Badgley) looking at his new obsession aka his neighbor, despite being in a relationship with Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). Season 3 is supposed to begin with Joe and Quinn married and raising their son, who is going to be named Henry as was announced in the video by Netflix, the Goldberg family is now living in the northern California suburb of Madre Linda. Joe’s family life begins to grow complicated because of Love’s impulsiveness and Joe’s growing interest in that woman who lived next door, especially as he begins to feel trapped by how well Love knows him.
You is based on the You and Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes. In Season 2, Joe move from New York to Los Angeles and change his name to will to run from his bloody past, and we saw him fall in love with Love. Season 3 takes the story away from the books now because the third book by Kepnes You Love Me, was published in April after the series writers’ planned the story.

The series is co-created by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble and is executive produced by Gina Girolamo, Leslie Morgenstein, Sarah Schechter, Michael Foley, Gamble, and Berlanti.
